About US Prexie Detail
The Presidential series is affectionately called Prexies by collectors. All 29 presidents through Hoover appeared on stamps. Benjamin Franklin appeared on the half cent despite never being president. Martha Washington appeared on the 1.5 cent value. The series included unusual denominations like 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, and 22 cents for exact postage rates. Collecting all Prexies in both sheet and coil format is a major challenge.
