About US National Parks
A set of 10 stamps featuring National Parks including Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, and Acadia. Designed by various artists and engraved by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The 1 cent Acadia and 5 cent Yosemite are the most common. The 10 cent Great Smoky Mountains was the last issued. The National Parks series is considered one of the most beautiful US commemorative sets. The stamps boosted tourism to National Parks during the Great Depression.
