US Liberty Series
About US Liberty Series
The definitive series replacing the Presidential series. Featured the Statue of Liberty, American landmarks, and portraits of historical figures. The 8 cent Statue of Liberty and 3 cent Liberty Bell were the most commonly used. The 1 dollar and 5 dollar values featured the National Capitol and Statue of Freedom. The series ran from 1954 to 1968. The Liberty series is collected by paper type, watermark, and tagging, creating many varieties. The coil and booklet versions have different perforations.
