US Distinguished Americans
About US Distinguished Americans
The modern definitive series featuring portraits of notable Americans in a uniform design. Includes Jonas Salk, Robert Panill, and Cesar Chavez. The series continues the tradition of honoring distinguished Americans on everyday stamps. The portraits are engraved and printed in single colors. The Distinguished Americans series is ongoing. The designs feature larger portraits than previous definitive series, with minimal decorative elements.
