US Dinosaurs
About US Dinosaurs
A set of stamps featuring dinosaurs including Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, and Brontosaurus. The dinosaur stamps were enormously popular with children. The designs by James Gurney, creator of Dinotopia, showed dinosaurs in their natural habitats. The dinosaur stamps are among the most popular US nature stamps ever issued. The USPS developed educational kits for schools around the dinosaur stamp release. The stamps introduced millions of children to stamp collecting.
