About Russian Romanov Dynasty

A set of 17 stamps commemorating the 300th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty. Featured portraits of all the Romanov tsars from Mikhail I to Nicholas II. Issued just four years before the Russian Revolution ended the dynasty. The Romanov tercentenary stamps were beautifully engraved by the Russian State Printing Office. After the revolution, the stamps were demonetized. The Romanov stamps are collected as the last imperial issue of Russia, representing the end of an era.
