About Pakistan First Issue

Pakistan issued its own designed stamps from 1948. The first native Pakistan design featured the crescent and star. Pakistan stamps blend Islamic artistic traditions with modern design. The overprinted Indian stamps are collected as the first issues of independent Pakistan.
